Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has been linked with a move away from the Premier League club this summer.
According to an update by reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Serie A outfit Juventus have established direct contact to sign 24-year-old Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho in the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, another Italian journalist Mirko Di Natale has reported that the Bianconeri could look to sign him on a dry loan, paying half of his wages. However, they are trying to understand if Manchester United are open to such an arrangement.
Sancho does not have a future at Old Trafford, and Manchester United will want to sanction his departure if there is an acceptable offer on the table. They will invariably suffer a loss while parting ways with him in the summer transfer window.
Jadon Sancho spent the second half of last season on loan at his former club Borussia Dortmund, where he helped them reach the UEFA Champions League final. The 24-year-old showed that he is a quality player, and it is no surprise that Juventus want to sign him.
Federico Chiesa has been linked with a move away from the Serie A club, and they need to bring in replacements. Sancho could be the ideal alternative to the Italian international window. It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can work out an agreement now.
Juventus are unlikely to be able to pay a premium for him, and Manchester United will have to set a reasonable offer in order for the deal to go through. Manchester United paid £73 million to sign the winger, and they will be fully aware of the fact that they will have to accept a major loss on him. It remains to be seen on the situation develops.
Juventus move would be ideal for Sancho
Jadon Sancho will look to sort out his long term future and focus on his football as well. Leaving Manchester United permanently this summer would be ideal for all parties, and the opportunity to play for Juventus will be attractive for him. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and they could provide him with the opportunity to push for major trophies on a consistent basis.
The 24-year-old English winger is still relatively young, and he will only get better with coaching and experience. He could develop into a key player for Juventus with the right guidance. The lower intensity of Serie A football should be a good fit for him as well.
