Bologna are interested in signing the Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior this summer.

Bologna will be able to provide him with that opportunity and a move to the Italian club would be ideal for him. The Arsenal defender will be hoping to play regularly at this stage of his career and sitting on the bench at the north London club is unlikely to benefit him.
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal can agree on a loan deal with an option to buy the player. Kiwior is highly rated across Europe and he has a bright future ahead of himself. Regular football could accelerate his development and help him fulfil his tremendous potential.
The defender might feel that a move to Bologna will be a step down from Arsenal, but he needs regular football in order to continue his development. Sitting on the bench at a big club is unlikely to help him improve.
Jakub Kiwior could develop into a quality defender
If the 24-year-old defender manages to impress at the Italian club and develop as a player, he will get plenty of opportunities to play for a big club in the near future. Meanwhile, Bologna will need to improve defensively and signing the 24 year-old could be a wise decision. He would be a quality long-term investment for them, and they could nurture him into a key player for the club.
Arsenal are already well-stocked in the defensive unit and they will not be able to provide the 24-year-old with ample game time. It makes sense for them to let the player leave on loan. It remains to be seen whether they can negotiate a substantial option to buy with the Italian outfit.
Bologna will not be able to pay a premium for the 24-year-old defender and the two clubs will need to agree on a reasonable deal in order for the move to go through.
