The update has boosted the prospects of Manchester United, Tottenham, Hotspur, and Newcastle United.
Andreas Christensen and his Barcelona exploits
Andreas Christensen has been one of the best defenders in La Liga since joining Barcelona from Chelsea in a Bosman move in July 2022 after his deal with the West London club expired. The Dane has reprised multiple roles for the Blaugrana in the last two seasons, excelling wherever he has played on the pitch.
The 28-year-old was a revelation as a holding midfielder in the 2023/24 season and has been top-notch whenever he has played as a centre-back. Christensen has turned out 75 times thus far for Barcelona while chipping in with four goals and three assists.
