Manchester United set to offer a new deal to Amad Diallo

Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are looking to secure the long-term future of their attacking sensation Amad Diallo.

According to a report from CaughtOffside, Manchester United are now looking to focus on renewing the contract of Amad Diallo. The Red Devils consider him to be an important part of their plans moving ahead and want to ensure he continues at Old Trafford.

Diallo made quite a name for himself coming up the ranks and playing for the Atalanta first team. His exceptional rise led to big money for United at the start of 2021. While the youngster has shown glimpses of the talent he possesses, he has yet to showcase the best version of himself.

Diallo to be given a chance to revive his United career

The 22-year-old was injured for most of last season but he made an impressive return to action towards the end. Diallo did well during the pre-season and it looks like Ten Hag wants to bet on him in the new season. He has started on the right flank in both games this season and is expected to play an important role going forward.

With his contract running out in 12 months, the Red Devils want to ensure they secure his long-term future. They see great potential in the former Atalanta winger and consider him to be a valuable asset going forward.

After a season where they struggled with injuries, United have done exceptionally well in the transfer market as well as in the pre-season leading into the season. They kicked off their Premier League season with a 1-0 win over Fulham thanks to a late winner by new signing Joshua Zirkzee.

With things going according to plan, the Manchester-based club now want to focus on renewing the contract of Diallo. His contract runs out in less than a year’s time and top clubs in the country are closely monitoring the situation. Everton are one of the clubs who have been linked with the 22-year-old.

The Merseyside club seek attacking reinforcement after a disappointing season last time out. Diallo could be a great signing for them. But, United are in no mood to negotiate his departure. They want to extend his stay and secure his future at the club as soon as possible.
