Arne Slot’s Liverpool are all set to table their final offer for the services of Valencia shot-stopper Giorgi Mamardashvili.

While he still has three years left on his deal, the Spanish club are still ready to negotiate his departure as they need to raise funds.
Liverpool are the ones keen on signing the 23-year-old. The Reds already have Alisson Becker in their ranks. He has been the go-to man in goal for them and is expected to carry on for a few more years. But with him all set to be 33 next year, the Merseyside club want to prepare for the long run.
They feel Mamardashvili has the potential to be their future number one. While they are pushing to strike a deal this summer, the Reds are looking to immediately send him out on loan to a Premier League club.

While Liverpool did submit an initial offer worth £25.7 million, Valencia has turned it down as they are looking to make £34.3 million from the sale of their biggest asset. Despite receiving a setback with their first offer, the Reds are now prepared to submit a final proposal.
They are expected to make the offer in the coming days and are looking to ensure they can strike a deal for less than the asking price. The report suggested their offer will be close to the £34.3 million asking price and it can be reached with the help of add-ons.
Reports suggest Mamardashvili has already agreed personal terms with the Reds as he is keen on making the move to the Premier League. His agent Levan Seturidze has travelled to Valencia to hold talks between the clubs and help Liverpool secure their first signing of the summer.
