The Liverpool mainstay is an alternative to Nico Williams, who has been the Catalan outfit’s top target for the summer transfer window. However, the 27-year-old has dealt a blow to Barcelona’s prospects as he will not leave the Merseyside club this year.

Luis Diaz has made considerable progress since joining Liverpool from FC Porto in January 2022. The South American attacker was a hot property in the market two and a half years ago, and he has justified the clamour for his signature.
While the 27-year-old has not been consistent with his output in the final third, he has made his mark at Anfield. Diaz has turned out nearly 100 times thus far for Liverpool while chipping in with 24 goals and 13 assists. While the numbers can improve, the player remains a pivotal figure for the Merseyside outfit.
