Richarlison wants Tottenham stay amid exit links

Richarlison has no interest in leaving Tottenham for a new challenge, as he is happy at the club despite their ongoing striker search.

According to Football Insider, Richarlison may not consider an exit from Tottenham this summer despite the club actively looking for a new striker. The links to Dominic Solanke have left the Brazilian unfazed, with reports of interest from Saudi Arabia unlikely to move the needle for the centre-forward.

Richarlison to stay at Tottenham?

Richarlison could have a pivotal summer on his hands, as there are active rumours linking him with a move away from Tottenham. The Brazilian has not performed well since his £60 million move from Everton two years ago. He scored a single goal in his debut season while converting eleven times last season, which was still underwhelming for a player of his quality.

Ange Postecoglou is actively seeking a new striker to improve his attacking setup, with links to Dominic Solanke. Spurs are not willing to pay the £65 million release clause attached in his contract, and the Cherries are in no mood to accept anything less. The striker is also reportedly keen on the move to Tottenham, which could pose a problem for Richarlison.

Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli are keen to sign Richarlison, according to the latest Saudi rumour mill, with a report stating they are willing to pay £60 million. In that case, Tottenham might consider an offer for the Brazilian striker and technically recoup the money they paid Everton two years ago.

However, Richarlison has no interest in leaving Tottenham as things stand, despite some reports stating he might be open to joining a Saudi outfit. He wants to fight for his place, and with a contract in north London until 2027, things are mainly in his hands.

Will Tottenham force Richarlison out?

Tottenham are seeking Solanke behind the scenes, but they are not showing absolute intent to bring the Bournemouth star at the expense of Richarlison. The Brazilian certainly offers more from an attacking point of view than Solanke, as the former can also play in the wide roles.

Either way, keeping Richarlison, regardless of the arrival of a new striker, will help Tottenham and Postecoglou ahead of the new season. If he stays, the Brazilian might have to find urgent form in front of the goal or risk being sold at all costs next summer.
