Two Saudi Pro League clubs are all set to hold fresh talks to sign Manchester United defensive midfielder Casemiro.

According to Rudy Galetti, Manchester United star midfielder Casemiro remains a priority target for the Saudi Pro League. While no concrete offers have arrived at the doorstep of the Red Devils, two clubs from the Middle East Al Ahli and Al Qadisiya could soon hold fresh talks to sign the Brazilian international.

After conquering Europe with Real Madrid, Casemiro made the move to the Manchester-based club in the summer of 2022. He had an exceptional debut season at Old Trafford but couldn’t manage to maintain the levels during his second season in the English top flight.

His poor became a major headache for Erik ten Hag’s team last season and they now seem ready to move on from him. The Red Devils have already made significant signings this summer but there is still a lot to be done.

They need to bring in a new world-class partner for Kobbie Mainoo and to fund any potential transfer, United to need to sanction a few departures to comply with financial fair play rules.

United to sell Casemiro? Saudi clubs keen

They seem keen on parting ways with Casemiro as he is one of the highest-paid players on the team. His departure will be a huge relief for their wage bill and they are looking to raise around €30-35 million from his sale amidst interest from the Middle East.

The Brazilian international remains a top target for clubs from Saudi Arabia as they look to continue to add stars to their league. Meanwhile, Casemiro is also open to a move to the Saudi Pro League and his agents have met with clubs from that part of the world.

While Al Nassr, Al Hilal, Al Ahli and Al Qadisiya have all held talks with his agent, only Al Ahli and Al Qadisiya have enquired about additional information regarding a potential move this summer. There might not be an offer on the table yet but both clubs are expected to hold a new round of talks for a possible move in the near future.
