So, they have identified the RC Strasbourg midfielder as a target, holding talks with his inner circle, with the Ligue 1 club demanding around €30-35 million to part ways with him.
Who is Habib Diarra?
Habib Diarra has established himself as one of the best young midfielders in Ligue 1 since breaking into the first-team squad at RC Strasbourg. A native of Guédiawaye, Senegal, he spent his formative years in France. The youngster began his youth career at FC Mulhouse before joining RC Strasbourg in 2018.
The 20-year-old made his first-team bow at the onset of the 2021/22 season. Since then, Diarra has come leaps and bounds, establishing himself as a pivotal figure for RC Strasbourg while turning out 69 times thus far for the Ligue 1 club while chipping in with seven goals and five assists.
