Fulham have secured an agreement with Arsenal to sign their academy graduate Emile Smith Rowe in a deal worth £34 million.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Emile Smith Rowe is all set to join Fulham in the coming days as they have managed to reach a full agreement to sign the Arsenal star. Their club record signing is all set to travel for his medical before penning down a new deal at Craven Cottage.
Smith Rowe has been a part of the Arsenal setup since his childhood days. He came up the ranks at some pace and was promoted to their first team in 2020. While the Englishman did have an incredible start to life at the senior level, injuries have been a major roadblock for him.
Emile Smith Rowe has slowly gone down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta. Despite being fit for most parts of last season, he was involved in just 19 matches and was on the pitch for less than 500 minutes. Frustrated by the lack of minutes, the Arsenal homegrown player has been keen on making a move away.
He wants regular first-team action, and Arsenal have been open to sanctioning his departure as long as their demands are met. With the 24-year-old homegrown attacking midfielder available, Fulham have been trying to add him to their ranks.

They will be paying £27 million as a fixed fee along with another £7 million promised as add-ons. Smith Rowe will soon undergo his medical as a new Fulham player before penning down the deal.
