French giants Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement in principle with Manchester United star winger Jadon Sancho.
Jadon Sancho has returned to his parent club Manchester United following a successful loan spell. But his future at Old Trafford remains uncertain. Despite being a part of United’s pre-season preparations, he could be on the move this summer for €60 million, and there is interest in his services from Paris Saint-Germain. According to a report from SPORTS ZONE, the French giants have reached an agreement in principle with Sancho for a transfer.
Sancho made a name for himself while playing for Borussia Dortmund. On the back of his exceptional performances for the German club, Manchester United broke the bank to sign him in the summer of 2021. Unfortunately, the move has not gone according to plan for both parties.
Jadon Sancho struggled to get going at Old Trafford and was exiled from the first-team squad following a rift with Erik ten Hag at the start of last season. He spent the first half of the season without any first-team involvement following which he was loaned back to Dortmund.
The Englishman did manage to revive himself during the short loan stint as he helped his former club reach the UEFA Champions League final. While he is back at Manchester United and seems to have sorted things out with Tten Hag, his future has remained uncertain.
PSG keen on Sancho, but he is not a priority
With just two years left on his deal, the Red Devils are ready to cash in on him. As per reports, the 24-year-old is not a part of their plans moving ahead, and there is interest in his services from PSG. Les Parisiens are keen on reinforcing their attack following the departure of Kylian Mbappe.
They want more quality out wide on the flanks and have been in talks with Sancho’s agents regarding a potential move. PSG have reached an agreement in principle over personal terms with the English international. While the French club have taken a step towards signing him, the former Dortmund winger is not the priority option for them.
With Manchester United looking for a massive €60 million, it will be interesting to see if PSG are willing to invest that big a fee on a player who hasn’t done much over the last two seasons.
