Manchester United, Tottenham have met Vanderson agents

Manchester United and Tottenham have contacted Vanderson’s agent, with the AS Monaco full-back set to cost at least £30 million.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United and Tottenham have reportedly met with Vanderson’s agents ahead of a potential switch to the Premier League. AS Monaco are unlikely to stand in the right-back’s way should he desire a switch, with the asking price set at £30 million.

Vanderson agents approached by Premier League giants

Vanderson is one of the right-backs who continues to be of interest to a few Premier League sides, including Manchester United and Tottenham. The English duo are keen to recruit a new right-back this summer, as they have varied needs in their squads.

Tottenham have been interested in Vanderson from the time AC Milan began negotiations for Emerson Royal. While the Brazilian’s move is yet to be finalised, Spurs are likely to include the AS Monaco star on their priority list to bring in competition for Pedro Porro in that role.

AS Monaco want around £30 million for the right-back, and they have been adamant about this price point since early June. Whether these clubs value him likewise remains to be seen, although they will look to bring the price down a bit. Manchester United and Tottenham have touched base with Vanderson’s agents in a bid to accelerate the move and find an agreement on personal terms in the background.

The Red Devils have reportedly included the £30 million-rated Brazilian international on their shortlist as they prepare to offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer. Whether Vanderson is their priority target remains the question, as they do have links with other notable names.

Manchester United’s right-back targets

There is a feeling that Manchester United is looking to recruit full-backs on either flank. Ferdi Kadioglou is a target, especially because the Turkish international can play both sides with relative ease. They are also in the market to recruit a left-back, with Archie Brown linked to play cover for Luke Shaw.

Sticking with the right-back role, Manchester United are also in talks for Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich after his move to West Ham fell through. For now, the Moroccan international appears to be the primary target for the role, with Vanderson likely to be their next option should they fail to bring the Bayern Munich full-back.
