Liverpool are ready to offer their academy graduate Trent Alexander-Arnold a new deal amidst interest from Real Madrid.
Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future has been the talk of the town in recent weeks. With his contract expiring next summer, he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid. But, it seems Liverpool fans don’t really have much to worry about as he has already committed his short-term future to the club.
The Liverpool academy graduate will continue at Anfield for the 2024/25 season and according to a report from The Sun, the Merseyside club are all set to offer him a new bumper contract to secure his long-term future.
The English international was one of the mainstays in Jurgen Klopp’s team after getting promoted to their first team back in 2016. He was key to all the success they had during the German manager’s reign. While he did struggle with injuries last season, the 25-year-old still finished with three goals and nine assists in his 37 outings.

It resulted in him getting picked in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for Euro 2024. While it hasn’t been long since England lost the final to Spain, the new season is already on the horizon and Alexander-Arnold’s future has been a significant talking point.
With his contract running out, there has been a significant amount of interest from Real Madrid. He seems to have formed an incredible bond with Los Blancos star and England teammate Jude Bellingham which has resulted in talks about him being inclined towards a move to the Spanish capital.
While the European Champions seem keen on signing him for free next summer, they might not get that opportunity. Liverpool are looking to give it their all to ensure he pens down a new long-term deal and continues at Anfield.
