Everton, West Ham United vying for Arkadiusz Milik

Everton and West Ham United are reportedly keen on signing 30-year-old Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik from Serie A club Juventus this summer.

According to a report from Italian outlet Tuttosport, Everton and West Ham United are keen on signing 30-year-old Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik from Serie A club Juventus in the summer transfer window.

The Poland international striker has been a useful squad player for Juventus, and he could prove to be a superb acquisition for the two English clubs as well. Milik scored eight goals in all competitions last season, and he could be the ideal backup option to Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Goodison Park.

Everton need to add more quality and depth to their attacking unit. Milik has shown in the past that he is capable of leading the line at a high level. Regular football in England would be ideal for the Polish international as well. He has not been a regular starter for Juventus, and his eight goals have mostly come as squad player. Regular exposure in the Premier League could help him regain his sharpness and confidence.

Everton have been fighting the relegation battle in the last two seasons, and they will look to do better in the upcoming campaign and push for a top half finish. They will need to improve their squad during the summer transfer window, and signing a reliable goalscorer would be ideal.

West Ham could use a striker like Milik

Meanwhile, West Ham United need to bring in a quality goalscorer as well. Michail Antonio and Danny Ings are well past their peak, and they were quite underwhelming last season. West Ham will have to bring in an upgrade if they are serious about pushing for trophies next season, and they have shown interest in strikers like Ivan Toney.

West Ham United have brought in a quality manager ini Julen Lopetegui, and they will look to push for European qualification. Signing a top-notch striker should be one of their priorities.

Milik has proven himself over the years in Serie A, and he has the technical attributes to succeed in the Premier League as well. It will be interesting to see where he ends up. Both clubs would represent an excellent opportunity for the 30-year-old. But a move to West Ham might be more enticing given their squad and the manager at the helm.
