Tottenham rival Arsenal in Adrien Rabiot chase

Tottenham are keen on Adrien Rabiot, with the midfielder available on a free transfer after his Juventus contract expired.

According to Tutto Juve, Tottenham is among those keen on signing Adrien Rabiot, with Arsenal also considered a suitor. The 29-year-old World Cup finalist is a free agent after his Juventus contract expired.

Tottenham keen on Adrien Rabiot

Adrien Rabiot has ended his tenure at Juventus after his contract expired on June 30. There were talks about renewing with the Italian giants, who had made a few contract offers, but the 29-year-old World Cup finalist has seemingly chosen to take up a new challenge.

A host of clubs are keen on the Frenchman, as the midfielder will have no shortage of options when he seeks a new challenge. Still, at the peak of his powers, Rabiot could be a useful addition to any of the top sides around, especially from the Premier League.

He was offered to a host of Premier League sides, including Arsenal, who now have local neighbours Tottenham also chasing for his signature. He’s a high-quality addition for any side, and the Spurs need a draw midfielder to give them superior control in the area.

Spurs might be keen on holding direct talks with Reabiot and his mother/agent about a move, although they might face a challenge convincing him to join the club that will not have Champions League football next season.

Will Rabiot join Tottenham?

Rabiot could have stayed at Juventus and continued to help the club achieve big things, but he has a different plan to further his career. Hence, his chances of joining Spurs, especially without Champions League football, are slim, although not impossible, especially if the club makes a compelling offer to the midfielder.

He is reported to want a move to Real Madrid, although there are doubts about whether the club are interested. Arsenal might be keen to add his experience to their side, although so far, not many sources have suggested Mikel Arteta might be keen on the midfielder, as the Spaniard has other targets in mind.
