According to Philipp Hinze of Sky Sports Germany, Liverpool are among the clubs showing interest in Mohamed Simakan in this window. The reporter also names Atletico Madrid as a suitor, as RB Leipzig might ask for a fee between €40-45 million for the French defender.

Liverpool are eager to strengthen their defensive ranks during the current transfer window, as Arne Slot considers the central areas key.
