Manchester United ready to pay €60 million to sign Leny Yoro

Manchester United are reportedly willing to fork out €60 million to sign Liverpool and Real Madrid target Leny Yoro ahead of next season.

According to a report from Le Parisien, Manchester United are willing to do everything in their power to sign Leny Yoro this summer. The teenage defensive sensation is on the wishlist of multiple top clubs from across Europe. The Red Devils are looking to beat the competition by offering €60 million for his services.

Yoro has been a part of the LOSC Lille first team since the summer of 2022. Despite being just 18, he is already a mainstay at the club, and his performances have not gone unnoticed. Last season, the centre-back was involved in 44 first-team matches and he even scored three goals.

Liverpool and Real Madrid keen on Leny Yoro

While Lille would love to have Leny Yoro around for years to come, his departure almost looks certain with his contract running out in 12 months. Liverpool and Real Madrid are two clubs who have been linked with the teenage sensation.

The Reds consider him to be an ideal fit for their system, and he could be a great long-term acquisition. While they have positioned themselves in the pursuit of his signature, Liverpool won’t be that big a threat for Manchester United.

Real Madrid are the team they will be most worried about. Los Blancos have identified him as someone who could become an integral part of their project which revolves around some of the best players in the world. The youngster seems quite interested in making the move to Real Madrid.

Manchester United to offer €60 million for Yoro’s services

While Los Blancos seem to be the more attractive destination, Carlo Ancelotti’s team have not struck a deal with Lille yet. As a result, the Red Devils are looking to make sure they do not miss out on his signature. They are doing everything they can to convince him about a potential move and are willing to offer €60 million to Lille to get the deal over the line.

Manchester United feel he could be an exceptional signing for them as they look to reshape their backline. They consider him to be the best defender in the world in his age group and they are going hard for his signature. Striking a deal with the French club might not be a problem. But convincing Yoro about moving to Old Trafford might be difficult.
