According to an update by David Ornstein on The Athletic, Arsenal have seen a bid rejected for Dan Bentley, with Wolves deeming the offer to be insufficient. The Gunners are keen on re-signing the 30-year-old former academy ace as a backup option to David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale, as well as boost their homegrown quota.

The Midlands side have reportedly turned down their bid for Bentley, which other sources are reporting to be around £50,000. On paper, this may seem like a lowball offer, but it is very similar to what Wolves paid for him 18 months ago.
The Gunners are expected to return with a new bid, considering Wolves found it extremely insufficient, as they are keen to re-invest a certain sum into buying a replacement. How much the Black Country outfit want remains the question, although going by Arsenal’s opening offer, they are not keen to spend significantly on a third-choice keeper.
