Arne Slot’s Liverpool have enquired about the availability of Real Madrid attacking duo Arda Guler and Rodrygo Goes.
According to a report from HITC, Liverpool are looking for ways to further bolster their attack ahead of next season. They are interested in the services of Arda Guler and Rodrygo Goes and have approached Real Madrid for more information regarding a potential transfer.
Guler has become the talk of the town following his impressive performances at Euro 2024, and there is no shortage of interest in his services. While he is considered an integral part of Real Madrid’s first team, the arrival of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick have raised a lot of question marks over where and how often the 19-year-old will be able to play for Los Blancos next season.
Guler to Liverpool? Loan move possible
With Mohamed Salah not getting any young and his future at the club uncertain, the Reds are on the lookout for a young replacement, and they feel Guler will be a perfect fit in Arne Slot’s system. As a result, Liverpool have knocked on Real Madrid’s door to know more about a potential transfer.
The report has made it quite clear that Florentino Perez has no intentions of letting Guler leave on a permanent transfer. However, a loan deal could be possible as Carlo Ancelotti wishes to have a closer look at the teenager during pre-season before making a decision.
Liverpool keen on Rodrygo
The Merseyside club have also asked about the availability of Rodrygo Goes. Liverpool have a long-standing interest in his services and if he is made available, they are willing to go hard to bring him to the club. He could solve quite a few problems up top and could eventually become the leader of their attack.
The Brazilian has been one of the mainstays of Real Madrid’s attack and he played a big part in their success last season. But, with Mbappe coming in, his game time could take a major hit. Rodrygo waiting to see how things pan out. While there is concern in his camp, the 23-year-old is willing to fight for his place and does not really intend to leave at this point in time.
