Aaron Wan-Bissaka agrees on Galatasaray terms?

Aaron Wan-Bissaka concluded another disappointing season with Manchester United with a trophy to show for in the end. The defender was part of the side that beat Manchester City to win the FA Cup, although that game might have been the last time he donned the club’s shirt.

He was expected to depart in the summer, with Manchester United reportedly open to a sale, considering he will enter the final year of his deal at Old Trafford. A £50 million signing from Crystal Palace, the right-back has not lived up to expectations and now will call time on his Red Devils career.

Galatasaray had prioritised a move for the defender, with reports suggesting Wan-Bissaka has agreed on personal terms with the Turkish giants. As per the report, the 26-year-old Manchester United ace will earn a reported €3.5 million per year in Istanbul, as some of the other interested clubs would now have to look away.

Inter Milan were keen, but Galatasaray are now close to signing the 26-year-old Manchester United ace ahead of the coming weeks. Without his role in any of the national team competitions, Wan-Bissaka would be available to complete a transfer, although the two clubs have yet to find an agreement on the final fee.

Manchester United want €15 million for Wan-Bissaka.

Manchester United are keen to maximise their sales this summer, as INEOS will want to boost their transfer budgets after offloading unwanted players. With the market for Wan-Bissaka not so active in the Premier League, they might have to lower their €15 million asking price for the defender.

Galatasaray are not keen on paying that much, with the report suggesting the two clubs could come to an understanding which could see the Turkish giants pay around €7-10 million for the 26-year-old defender.
