West Ham United in transfer tussle to sign Matias Soule

West Ham United are reportedly keen on signing 21-year-old Argentine winger Matias Soule from Serie A club Juventus this summer.

According to reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, West Ham United have now joined the race to sign Juventus attacker Matias Soule. The 21-year-old Argentine attacker was on loan at fellow Serie A club Frosinone last season, and he was outstanding for them, scoring 11 goals in all competitions.

Soule is regarded as one of the finest young attacking talents in Italian football, and West Ham are hoping to secure his services. It remains to be seen whether the Hammers can secure an agreement with Juventus.

The Italian outfit are open to selling the player for the right price and West Ham must do everything in their power to get the deal done. The 21-year-old is a prodigious talent with a bright future. He could sort out the West Ham attack for the foreseeable future.

The Hammers are in desperate need of a reliable attacker, and the 21-year-old could complete their front three alongside Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen. The youngster is versatile enough to operate as a winger as well as a centre forward. Juventus will not be able to provide him with regular first team football.

So, leaving the Serie A club would be ideal for the player as well. West Ham will be able to provide him with the platform he needs, and a move to the Premier League would be ideal for Soule at this stage of his career.

Regular football in England could accelerate his development and help him fulfil his world-class potential. The South American attacker will want to establish himself as a key player for club and country. A move to West Ham would be ideal for him. He would get to work with a quality manager like Julen Lopetegui as well.

West Ham need a quality attacker

West Ham have a talented squad, but they need to bring in a couple of intelligent additions to do well next season. Signing a quality attacker should be their top priority. Apart from that, they should look to tighten up defensively as well.

The Hammers have managed to compete in European football in recent seasons, and they will want to sustain that level going forward. They need to improve their squad to play in Europe regularly. Someone like Soule will certainly help them improve going forward.

The 21-year-old has been linked with other Premier League clubs as well, and it remains to be seen where he ends up eventually. He needs to join a club where he will play regularly, and West Ham seem like an exciting destination.
