Liverpool preparing offer to sign Dario Osorio

Arne Slot’s Liverpool are preparing an offer to acquire the services of FC Midtjylland attacking sensation Dario Osorio.

According to a report from La Tercera, Liverpool are always on the lookout for players who can further bolster their ranks and they seem to have found a sensational talent in Dario Osorio. The Chilean international has had a rapid rise in recent years and it has caught the attention of the Reds.

Osorio came up the ranks at Club Universidad de Chile before making the move to FC Midtjylland last summer. The 20-year-old seems to have slowly established himself in their team. He featured in 24 matches for the Danish club and even contributed towards 10 goals (8 goals, 2 assists).

While he prefers playing out wide on the right, the South American sensation’s new club has used him on both flanks and as an attacking midfielder. He has done incredibly well in all roles, resulting in a lot of interest.

He seems ready to take a great leap in quality with multiple top clubs are ready to push for his signatures. There was interest in the winger’s services last summer as well. Wolves, Leicester City and AC Milan were all linked with him but Midtjylland won the race and signed him for $5.3 million.

Liverpool ready to prise Osorio away from the club

The Danish club might have managed to secure his services by overcoming the competition last summer but they will find it difficult to keep hold of him amidst interest from Liverpool.

The Reds want to further bolster their attack, they are looking for someone who can help them in the long run. Osorio has a bright future ahead and they feel he could be an ideal fit for the club.

With Mohamed Salah’s time at Liverpool will end in the near future, the Chilean international could be his long-term replacement. His contract with the Danish club runs until the summer of 2028 but Liverpool intends to prise him away and they are preparing an important offer for his signature.

They are ready to pay between $8 to $10 million to have him in their squad. Since there is no shortage of interest in the 20-year-old’s services, it will be interesting to see if the Premier League club’s offer is good enough to help them sign their key target.
