West Ham United are reportedly closing in on agreeing to a deal worth £20 million with Palmeiras for 18-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Luis Guilherme.
According to a report by Graeme Bailey on HITC, Luis Guilherme has been the subject of interest from West Ham United. However, talks over signing the Brazilian wonderkid had stalled due to his wage demands. The discussions have reignited, with a deal worth £20 million on the cards for the Palmeiras whizkid.
Luis Guilherme: Yet another Palmeiras prodigy
Luis Guilherme is the latest highly-rated prodigy to graduate from the Palmeiras youth division. The Brazilian giants have produced many promising prospects in the last few years, with the hype train starting with Gabriel Jesus. Endrick, Estevao Willian, Guilherme, and Thalys have continued the trend since then.
Endrick will formally join Real Madrid next month, while Estevao Willian will likely complete his move to Chelsea in 2025. However, Guilherme might arrive in Europe before the other two prodigies.
