Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing 25-year-old Irish goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher from Liverpool this summer.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Caoimhin Kelleher is the subject of interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Black Country outfit will delve into the market for a goalkeeper heading into the summer transfer window amid uncertainties surrounding the future of Jose Sa. The Liverpool cup hero has thus emerged as a viable target for them.
Caoimhin Kelleher and his Liverpool journey
Caoimhin Kelleher has been a dependable performer for Liverpool since arriving from Ringmahon Rangers in July 2015. A native of Cork, the 25-year-old graduated from the Ringmahon Rangers youth division but slotted into the age-group teams at Liverpool FC after joining the Merseyside outfit.
The Irish goalkeeper made his first-team debut for Liverpool in September 2019 and has turned out nearly 50 times thus far for the Merseyside outfit. However, Kelleher has had to suffice with game time in domestic knockout competitions, although he has produced heroic performances in the EFL Cup and FA Cup.
While Kelleher has produced impressive displays between the sticks for Liverpool, regular game time eludes him. So, it is hardly surprising that he is considering a summer departure from Anfield ahead of the summer transfer window. A move across the Premier League might be on the cards, with Wolverhampton Wanderers interested in him.

So, it behoves the Midlands club to sign a goalkeeper in the summer transfer window. Kelleher has thus emerged as a viable target for Wolverhampton Wanderers. However, the Liverpool shot-stopper is not the only goalkeeper on the Black Country outfit’s radar, with Aaron Ramsdale another target.
