Saudi Arabia trio looking to sign Casemiro from Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.

According to Fichajes, the 32-year-old is a target for three Saudi Arabian clubs – Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli and Al-Qasidiya. All three clubs have shown interest in signing the defensive midfielder and it will be interesting to see who can secure an agreement with Manchester United first.

The Red Devils could be tempted to cash in on the player this summer. His performances were quite underwhelming this past season and he isn’t getting any younger. The 32-year-old is clearly on the decline and this would be the right time for Manchester United to get rid of him and bring in a younger replacement.

They need to sign a quality defensive midfielder heading into the summer window. Manchester United missed out on Champions League qualification and they will hope to bounce back strongly next year. They need to improve multiple areas of their squad and it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils can bring in the necessary reinforcements.

Meanwhile, Manchester United, have been linked with new managers as well. It will be interesting to see how the managerial situation unfolds over the coming weeks. Erik ten Hag helped them win the FA Cup this season, but the Dutchman faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford. The club hierarchy might choose to head into a new direction with a new manager.

Saudi move would be ideal for Casemiro

Meanwhile, Casemiro will hope to get his career back on track with a fresh start this summer. A move to Saudi Arabia could be ideal for him at this stage of his career. The lower intensity of the Saudi Pro League would be a good fit for him. He has shown his quality in the Premier League since joining from Real Madrid, but he is clearly on the decline now and Manchester United must look to replace him.

A move to Saudi Arabia would allow the Manchester United midfielder to pocket a lucrative contract at this stage of his career as well. It could very well be his last big contract before he decides to call time on an illustrious career.
