Arsenal and Manchester United could make a move for Andrea Cambiaso if he does not sign a new contract with Juventus.
According to Tutto Juve, Andrea Cambiaso has emerged as a target for Arsenal and Manchester United ahead of the summer. He could also engage in contract talks with Juventus. But should that fail to materialise, then the two Premier League clubs or more can angle a move for the 24-year-old Italian full-back.
Arsenal, Manchester United in Andrea Cambiaso move?
Andre Cambiaso has come into this Juventus side and has become an essential player for the side this season. He has predominantly featured on the right wing, with the Bianconeri preferring to play wing-backs as part of their system. And the idea of having the 24-year-old Italian full-back has paid dividends.
Cambiaso has a contract in Turin until 2027, which does give Juventus protection should some clubs come in with their interest. As it stands, some top teams are vying for his signature. But other teams, like Aston Villa and Fulham, are also looking at Cambiaso ahead of the summer.
Arsenal and Manchester United are also looking at Cambiaso, as per the report, and are eagerly waiting to hear from intermediaries on whether they have a chance of landing the 24-year-old Italian full-back. Juventus are in the market to sell some of their stars. But it is not clear whether they are keen to include Cambiaso on that list.
Contract talks are planned, and this is where sides like Arsenal or Manchester United could further their interest. Should Juventus not manage to agree on a deal with the full-back, then these sides or more could capitalize on the opportunity and make an approach.
Are Arsenal and Manchester United keen on a new left-back?
Manchester United clearly need a new right-back, as there are chances of Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaving the club. In general, they need reinforcements in the position. However, the Red Devils have other priorities, and Juventus will surely ask for a higher fee in return.
Arsenal could enter the market in the summer for a left-back, although any move for Andrea Cambiaso or someone else will depend on outgoings. It will be interesting to see if the versatile Italian moves to the Premier League this summer.
