AC Milan and Bayern Munich are both keen on acquiring the services of Tottenham Hotspur full-back Emerson Royal.
According to Tom Barclay, Emerson Royal’s future at Tottenham Hotspur is uncertain, and there is interest in his services from clubs across the globe. AC Milan and Bayern Munich are two European giants interested in having him in their squad.
Things might not have worked out for Emerson Royal at Barcelona. But he managed to revive his career following the move to the North London club in 2021. While he was an integral part of their first team until last season, the Brazilian full-back has gone down the pecking order since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou.
He has been involved in just 23 matches this term and has racked up less than 1,400 minutes of first-team action. While his contract with Tottenham runs until the summer of 2026, his future at the club is not certain. The 25-year-old could push for a move in search of regular first-team action, while the club could look to sanction his departure to raise funds.

The German giants are closely monitoring his situation at the North London club. While there is interest in his signature from clubs in the Middle East, the 25-year-old might prefer staying in Europe.
Tottenham seem ready to sanction the departure of Emerson, but they will not let him leave on the cheap. As per reports, they are looking for €30 million which will make things difficult for the interested clubs.
AC Milan are not in the best of financial situations, while Bayern Munich might not want to fork out that big a fee for the Brazilian full-back. As a result, it will be interesting to how things pan out from here.
