Manchester United have held meetings with Jadon Sancho as they look to bring him back after the end of his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund.
According to a report from The Sun, Manchester United want to reinstate Jadon Sancho to their first team. The Reds Devils want to bring him back to the club after the end of his loan spell and they have been in touch with the England international.
After making a name for himself at Borussia Dortmund, Sancho joined United in the summer of 2021 in a deal worth £73 million. Unfortunately, the move hasn’t really gone according to plan for both the player and the club.
Sancho’s fallout with Erik ten Hag
While he did show glimpses of the talent he possesses, Sancho never really got going after making the move to United. Things went from bad to worse earlier in the season after he had a public fallout with Erik ten Hag back in September.
The 24-year-old England international was banished from United’s first team, he was asked to train alone and with the academy players as he did want to apologise to Ten Hag. Eventually, they ended up sending him out on loan back to his former club Dortmund in the winter.
Sancho started slowly at the German club but he seems to have once again found his best form. The former Manchester City youth player has been putting in some exceptional performances for Dortmund. He has played a big part in helping them reach the Champions League semi-final.
Manchester United in constant contact with Sancho
With the winger back in form, United are now keen on reinstating him in the team and people from the club have been in constant touch with the player. According to the report, meetings have taken place with the former Director of Football John Murtough and Director of Player Negotiations Matt Hargreaves.
Ten Hag has already been asked about Sancho on multiple occasions. While he might have made any comments regarding the conflict between the two, the Dutch manager has made it clear that people from the club have been in touch with him and they have been closely monitoring the games that he has been involved in.
