Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested in 19-year-old Spanish winger Adrian Liso, who wants to stay at Real Zaragoza.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Adrian Liso is the latest highly-rated prodigy to emerge on the radars of the two biggest Spanish clubs. Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in signing the 19-year-old winger. But they face a losing battle in the chase, as the youngster wants to stay at Real Zaragoza beyond the summer transfer window.
Who is Adrian Liso?
Adrian Liso has appeared out of nowhere in the current generation of promising young Spanish prospects. The teenage sensation is a native of Zaragoza and has risen through the ranks at Real Zaragoza in his formative years.
The 19-year-old is primarily a left-winger but can also lead the line if the situation demands him to do so. Meanwhile, the young attacker is currently a member of the Real Zaragoza Deportivo Aragon side, with promotion to the first-team squad at the club on the cards. Meanwhile, Liso has enjoyed a decent 2023/24 campaign thus far, chipping in with four goals in 27 outings.
Liso’s progress at Real Zaragoza Deportivo Aragon has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of the two biggest clubs in Spain. Barcelona and Real Madrid are vying for the youngster’s signature heading into the summer transfer window.
Barcelona, Real Madrid want Liso
Barcelona and Real Madrid are familiar rivals on and off the pitch. While their age-old battles on the football field are revered, they also often lock horns in the transfer market. Recent reports have linked both clubs with several highly-rated prodigies, including Amara Diouf and Franco Mastantuono, among others.
Adrian Liso has now emerged as a target for Barcelona and Real Madrid. However, the two La Liga heavyweights face a losing battle chasing the 19-year-old Spanish winger, who does not want to leave Real Zaragoza anytime soon. He recently said, “It is the club of my city, of my life. It is a huge happiness to be able to enjoy my teammates. It is something unmatched.”
With Liso not interested in leaving Real Zaragoza amid the links with Barcelona and Real Madrid, the Spanish giants must look elsewhere to bolster their respective squads in the summer transfer window.
