Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in the services of 18-year-old German sensation Bence Dardai.
According to a report by HITC, Liverpool and Manchester United are both keen on having Bence Dardai in their ranks. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has had an impressive rise in the recent past. His performances and huge potential is what attracts a host of clubs from across Europe.
Bence Dardai and his rise at Hertha Berlin
Dardai has been a part of the Hertha Berlin setup since his childhood days. He has come up the ranks from their youth academy and is currently a part of their first team in the second division of German club-level football.
The teenager comes from a football family that is well connected to Hertha with his father head coach in the youth academy. His brothers Palko and Marton are also a part of the club, and he has played alongside them.
Bence Dardar was promoted to their first team ahead of the ongoing season and has since featured in a total of nine matches. While the youngster has had very limited game time, he does have an assist to his name.
The German youth international might not have had enough first-team minutes this term. But his performances at the youth level have already made it clear that he is a huge prospect for the future. As a result, top clubs from across Europe want to sign the attacking midfielder.
Liverpool, Manchester United keen on Bence Dardai
His performances and potential have put him on the radar of English giants Liverpool and Manchester United. Both clubs are always looking for players who can further bolster their squad and help them in the long run.
The teenager has qualities that suggest he has a bright future ahead of him, which is why the English clubs are pushing for his signatures. The Reds underwent an overhaul in midfield last summer. It has done wonders for them but they still need a few more additions.
As far as Manchester United are concerned, they are going to focus on young players and players that provide value for money under the new part owners. Dardai could be an ideal option for them with his contract running out at the end of the season.
