Tottenham prepare bid to sign Sebastian Szymanski

Tottenham are reportedly ready to make an offer for Sebastian Szymanski ahead of the summer, with Fenerbahce seeking €25 million.

According to Tutto Juve, Tottenham are eager to pip their rivals for the signing of Sebastian Szymanski in the summer window. The Fenerbahce attacking midfielder, who has 26 goal contributions this season, has several clubs chasing him, including Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus.

Tottenham to bid for Sebastian Szymanski?

Tottenham are in the market for a new attack-minded midfielder who can bring in some output to their squad. They already have James Maddison in that role, but Ange Postecoglou might view adding another such player as a beneficial decision for the group heading into the next season.

Spurs have shown an interest in Sebastian Szymanski from Fenerbahce and are aware of the massive competition for the attacking midfielder. The Polish international has been superb this season, amassing 26 goal contributions across all competitions for the Turkish side, who are looking for at least €25 million to sell him.

Considering that price point, many other clubs are eager to stamp their authority in the chase. Tottenham are keen to get ahead of their competition for the Polish international and make a bid for Fenerbahce to consider. They will certainly have an appeal if they manage to get into the Champions League places this season.

For now, Fenerbahce will show no hurry to sell the attacking midfielder and will look to get at least their minimum asking price. That range could go even higher should a lot of clubs come in with bids, and Tottenham must show certainty in making an offer that pleases the Turkish side ahead of the summer window.

Tottenham face Premier League competition

Tottenham are not alone in chasing Szymanski in the summer, as they have rivals like Manchester United and Arsenal also keen on the attacking midfielder. The Polish international’s output will take away the more significant focus of these clubs, and he has shown he can equally chip in with the goals and create chances.

Juventus are also in the chase, with the Bianconeri reportedly viewing Sebastian Szymanski as a cheaper alternative to Teun Koopmeiners as they target midfield signings for the next window.
