Manchester United are ready to rival Tottenham and Newcastle United for Ismail Yuksek, with Fenerbahce likely to sell the midfielder.
According to HITC, Manchester United are present in the race to sign Ismail Yuksek, who continues to attract plenty of interest from their Premier League rivals. Should any top-level club come in for the 25-year-old midfield powerhouse, Fenerbahce will likely sell him for a decent price.
Manchester United are interested in Ismail Yuksek
Ismail Yuksek has been one of the protagonists of Fenerbahce’s season so far, helping them challenge for the Super Lig title in Turkey. The midfielder has put in some notable performances, which have proved enough to attract top-level interest from Premier League clubs.
A recent report from the same outlet suggested at least three or four top Premier League sides are interested in the 25-year-old midfield powerhouse. Yuksek, however, prefers Manchester United should they enter the race, as they are his dream club.
Manchester United are indeed interested in the midfielder, as the club, under the guidance of INEOS, eyes a midfield revamp. The likes of Casemiro and Sofyan Amrabat could leave, with the Turkish international seen as a viable replacement for the latter.
Manchester United are the player’s preferred destination and dream, they might breeze past other competitors like Tottenham and Newcastle United, while Aston Villa is also among those keen on the 25-year-old midfield powerhouse.
Tottenham are serious about Ismail Yuksek
Among the others interested in the Turkish midfielder, Tottenham are giving his chase some serious consideration. The north London side could part ways with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the summer, with the Danish midfielder growing frustrated with his lack of football at Spurs.
Tottenham have scouted Yuksek recently and could accelerate their pursuit with the aim of taking the lead in the chase. Spurs are, therefore, a top contender for his signature ahead of the summer. Still, they will face the inevitable threat of Manchester United should the Red Devils seriously consider a move for the Turkish midfielder in the summer.
Overall, this race is poised for a battle of sorts, with Fenerbahce likely to sell him for a decent fee if one of those clubs comes knocking for Yuksek’s signature.
