Tottenham Hotspur keen on Sebastian Szymanski

Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race for the signatures of 24-year-old Polish attacking midfielder Sebastian Szymanski.

According to a report by Fanatik, Tottenham Hotspur are looking to further bolster their squad in the next summer transfer window. The North London club will look to add as much quality as possible and they have already identified a few key targets. Sebastian Szymanski is a player they are interested in and could make a move for him in the summer.

Szymanski came into the limelight during his loan spell at Feyenoord. His performances attracted the attention of Fenerbahce who acquired him from Dinamo Moscow last summer. The 24-year-old has gone from strength to strength since making the move.

He has played a big part in their dominant run in the Super Lig. Fenerbahce are currently second on the points table and Szymanski’s performances have played a big part in their title charge. If they are to win, he needs to finish the season on a high.

In his 26 league outings, the Polish international has contributed towards 18 goals, he has found the back of the nine times and has as many assists to his name. His incredible run has caught the eyes of quite a few clubs, and Tottenham Hotspur are one of them.

Spurs’ interest in reinforcing their squad with Szymanski

Spurs had a great start to the new season under Ange Postecoglou but things fell apart as they didn’t have the much-needed depth. The London club are expected to go big in the summer to give their Australian boss enough firepower to challenge for major titles.

They will look to sign players who can help them in the short as well as the long run. They feel Szymanski has the skills needed to succeed in the Premier League. Not only will he provide cover for James Maddison, the Polish international could even start as a right winger or a central midfielder if needed.

As a result, Spurs have been scouting him for a while now. They have been watching him up close and making their notes as they consider the idea of making a move for the 24-year-old in the next summer transfer window.
