Tottenham had a scouting trip to Denmark, where representatives were spotted in the game between Brondby and FC Midtjylland.
As per Bold Tottenham could increasingly look at the Danish market for new players in the summer after a recent scouting trip to the Scandinavian nation. Spurs are preparing for a massive summer window, with Ange Postecoglou planning on bringing several players, and possibly even some from Denmark.
Tottenham make a trip to Denmark
Tottenham are planning on essential steps in the transfer window once the season ends and has started making preparations beforehand. Spurs have a deep scouting network like many other big sides and have observed players from many countries.
They might be planning a concerted effort to get players from Denmark, a country which is increasingly becoming a hub for talented young stars. Many sides have been making regular trips to Denmark to scout some of these stars, as Tottenham scouts, alongside others, were spotted at a recent game between Brondby and FC Midtjylland.
The report states those sides, including Spurs, may have been present to look at Patrick Pentz, Jacob Rasmussen, Yuito Suzuki and Mathias Greve, as well as the matchwinner on the day, Ohi Omoijuanfo. There needs to be clarity on who among these names is Tottenham keen, but surely one might emerge on their radar.
Spurs might continue making these trips between now and the summer, which could see some names emerge in that coming period.
Tottenham have big summer plans
Tottenham boss Postecoglou has highlighted some critical needs in his side, as he could urge the club to make the right moves early in the summer. Raphinha remains a target, although there are doubts whether the Barcelona star would want to move out of Catalonia.
In all, they want a new wide attacker as well as a striker, as they have yet to replace Harry Kane since his sale last summer. Meanwhile, Tottenham are dreaming of signing Conor Gallagher, although there are challenges to signing a player from Chelsea.
They might also target a new defender, with Jarrad Branthwaite among those on their shortlist. In all, Spurs are planning on a big summer window, as Postecoglou will want a competitive side in place next season, as they are also in contention to make a return to the Champions League.
