Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior has reportedly been linked with a move away from the North London club this month.
According to Calciomercato, AC Milan have made an approach to sign Jakub Kiwior on loan from Arsenal for the rest of the season. But a deal will only materialise on a permanent transfer.
The Polish defender has struggled for regular game time since arriving at Arsenal in a €25 million deal, and he needs to leave the club to play regularly. He has played in Italy before and the player is keen on a return.

A move to AC Milan on loan would allow him to play more often, and it could be beneficial to his development. Kiwior was highly rated around Europe before his move to Arsenal. But he has not been able to hold down a regular starting spot at the North London club.
The report states that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is not keen on letting the player leave, and he is certainly against a loan deal. Arsenal could, however, consider an offer if there is an obligation to buy included in the contract.
AC Milan are looking at low-cost opportunities to improve their squad, and it will be interesting to see if they are prepared to accept the terms of the Premier League club. Kiwior could prove to be an interesting acquisition for them.
The-23-year-old Polish defender has the potential to establish himself as a key player for AC Milan, and he is only going to get better with coaching and experience. The defender is capable of operating as a central defender, a defensive midfielder as well as a left-back. His versatility will be added bonus if Milan can secure his signature.
He has a contract with Arsenal until the summer of 2028. So, the Gunners are under no pressure to let him leave. AC Milan will have to agree to their demands if they want to secure the services of the Poland international.
Arsenal are currently well-stocked in the central defensive unit, and they will not be able to provide the 23-year-old with ample first team action during the second half of the season. Sitting on the bench at a big club is unlikely to benefit the young defender, and he will hope that the two clubs can finalise an agreement quickly.
