Crystal Palace have reportedly presented a €35 million offer for Matias Soule via intermediaries, with Juventus ready to sell.
According to Fichajes, Crystal Palace intend to sign exciting Juventus star Matias Soule in January after reportedly making an offer. The Eagles have presented a €35 million proposal via intermediaries, with the Bianconeri ready to entertain offers to sell the 20-year-old Argentine prospect.
Juventus are planning to raise funds to strenghten their first-team squad ahead of January and have decided to sell some of their young rising stars. The Serie A giants are keen to bolster their midfield on priority alongside other areas but somewhat lack the funds to do so.
The solution has resulted in rising interest in two or three of their exciting young stars. Tottenham are keen on Samuel-Iling Junior, while the likes of Kenan Yildiz and Matias Soule are also grabbing plenty of attention from other suitors.
Soule, in particular, is a highly-rated talent performing well with Frosinone while on loan. He already has six goals and an assist in Serie A this season, which has improved his market standing. Tottenham are interested in the 20-year-old Argentine prospect, but they might focus on Iling-Junior.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are keen on Soule, with the Eagles intending to bring the 20-year-old Argentine prospect ahead of the January window. The Eagles have reportedly made a €35 million offer via intermediaries to sign the Juventus star.
Crystal Palace do have shortages in the attacking department after missing Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise for prolonged periods this season. They are also keen to sign a new striker, something Roy Hodgson might have decided after their abject record in front of goal.
Palace could tempt Juventus with that price tag, and if the Bianconeri agree on a sale, it will then depend on the player to decide whether to join the English side. A move to the Premier League might tempt Soule. But Juventus might have to pay compensation to break him out of his loan from Froninone.
The €35 million valuation does seem excessive for the 20-year-old Argentine prospect, who has limited top-level experience. If Crystal Palace are indeed investing such sums, they are taking some risk in hoping the player will start performing right from the go. The deal does help Juventus in their efforts to raise cash and bring in midfield reinforcements in January.
