Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing German international attacker Serge Gnabry from Bayern Munich.

Serge Gnabry has been linked with a return to the Premier League in the past as well. But it seems that Premier League champions Manchester City are now keen on bringing him back to England according to a report from Football Transfers.

The 28-year-old attacker has a market value of €55 million, and it remains to be seen whether Manchester City follow up on their interest with a concrete proposal to sign him. It is no secret that the Premier League champions could use more quality and depth in the attack.

Gnabry will add creativity and goals to the Manchester City attack if he joins the club. He knows the Premier League well and should be able to settle in quickly and make an immediate impact. The German attacker is versatile enough to operate anywhere across the front three, and the opportunity to join a club like Manchester City will be a tempting proposition for him.

He has already proven himself in the Bundesliga over the years. But Gnabry’s time in England was quite mediocre. He will feel that he is ready to make his mark in English football now, and Manchester City could help him win major trophies.

Pep Guardiola has put together a formidable squad that has challenged for major trophies every season, and Manchester City won the treble last year. Gnabry could be a key player for them and help them win major trophies this season as well.

His versatility will be an added bonus for the Premier League giants while rotation. Gnabry’s arrival will add tactical flexibility to the side as well. Manchester City are one of the wealthiest clubs in the world, and they have the financial resources to get the deal done.

The German international will be tempted to join them as well. But it remains to be seen whether Bayern Munich are prepared to sanction his departure midway through the season. Gnabry’s exit will certainly weaken them in the attack, and they will need to bring in a quality replacement before letting him leave.
