While the Reds have signed multiple midfielders during the summer transfer window, Jurgen Klopp is still looking for a few players to complete his midfield overhaul. And, the former Monaco midfielder could be a great fit for their system.

With his contract expiring in 18 months’ time, Nice are not in the best of positions and they might consider cashing in on him. According to the report, Liverpool have already enquired about the availability of the 22-year-old. And, they are ready to fork out £45 million to land the French international at their club.

The Reds are ahead of Juventus and Inter Milan in the race for his signatures. Both Italian clubs are looking to reinforce their midfield and are keen on having the Nice midfielder in their ranks. But, Liverpool are clear favourite because of the kind of financial strength the Premier League clubs have these days.

Thuram has already proved himself in France and his potential suggests he could do wonders for Jurgen Klopp’s team. With Liverpool ready to go big on the 22-year-old, it will be interesting to see if they can land him at the club.
