Manchester United are interested in the services of the 23-year-old Montenegro international Nikola Krstovic.
According to a report by Calciomercato, Manchester United are keen on having Nikola Krstovic in their ranks. The 23-year-old striker has been in sensational form in the ongoing season for Lecce and his impressive performances have attracted a lot of attention from across Europe.
Krstovic joined Lecce ahead of the ongoing season. The Italian club managed to acquire his services for just €4 million from Slovakian club Dunajska Strada. The 23-year-old has adjusted well to the Serie A and he has got off to a great start.
He has featured in 12 matches for the Italian club and has already found the back of the net four times. He might not have lit up the world by scoring goals every now and then. But, the Montenegro international’s overall game has surely attracted a lot of attention.
He uses his physique to perfection and his skills on the ball are on point. The 23-year-old is a proper number nine and he is on the radar of quite a few clubs. Despite having joined Lecce in the summer, Krstovic could be on the move in the winter window itself and a fee of around €10 million could be enough to prise him away.
Inter Milan are one of the clubs interested in his services. The Italian giants have got off to a great start in the new season but they lack depth up top. As a result, they are looking to sign a new striker in the winter and the 23-year-old is one of their targets.
But, Inter are not alone in the race, they will have to battle it out with Manchester United for the signatures of the Lecce striker. The Red Devils haven’t had the best of starts to the new season.
