Tottenham Hotspur are looking to acquire the services of 26-year-old Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo in the winter transfer window.
According to a Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on having Tosin Adarabioyo in their ranks. Spurs suffered a huge blow on Monday as their summer signing Micky van de Ven picked up a major injury, and they are now looking to go all out for a new defender in the winter.
Ange Postecoglou got off to a flying start at his new club Tottenham Hotspur. The Australian tactician has managed to get his idea across to his players quite early and they started playing an attractive and dominating style of football.
One of the major reasons for their success so far was their defensive duo of World Cup winner Cristian Romero and summer signing Micky van de Ven. They were unbeaten in the league heading into the fixture against Chelsea on Monday.
Their incredible start to the new came crumbling down against the Blues as they lost 4-1. Romero was sent off in the first half and van de Ven picked up an injury. He could not even walk after the end of the game. The 22-year-old has suffered a serious hamstring injury and he is expected to be out for a while.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur were already planning to sign a midfielder as well as a defender in the winter. And, now they are looking to push harder to land a new centre-back as soon as possible. Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo is one of their targets.
The 26-year-old was linked with Spurs in the summer as well. But they could not acquire his services. However, they are looking to once again push for him in the winter. Adarabioyo has only made one appearance so far this season. He picked up an injury quite early in the season and underwent groin surgery.

The English centre-back is expected to return from injury in the coming weeks. But, his future at Fulham looks uncertain with his contract expiring in the summer of 2024. With just over six months left on his deal and no major update on a new deal, the Cottagers could cash in on him in the winter.
