Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are keen on acquiring the services of 23-year-old Galatasaray full-back Sacha Boey.
According to Fabrice Hawkins, Manchester United are interested in having Sacha Boey in their ranks. The 23-year-old has put in quite a few impressive performances of late, and he is on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in world football.
Boey came through the ranks at Stade Rennais. He made it to their first team back in 2019. But things did not work out well for him at the Ligue 1 club. He left them in the summer of 2021 to join Galatasaray.
Since making the move to Turkey, the 23-year-old has gone from strength to strength. He has featured in a total of 72 matches and has contributed towards seven goals. In the ongoing season, he has already been involved in 20 games and has been doing a great job for his team.
Boey’s impressive performances have not gone unnoticed, and there is a lot of interest in his services from across Europe. Galatasaray are well aware of the amount of interest, and they have been in talks with the player over a new deal.
But, things are not going according to plan for the Turkish club. The talks over a new deal with the 23-year-old French defender have stalled. Nothing has been agreed yet according to Hawkins. With his current contract expiring in the summer of 2025, a move away from the club can’t be ruled out.
Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in the 23-year-old full-back. The Red Devils have not had the best of times of late, and they are looking to add more quality to their ranks over the next few windows.
The Red Devils already have two quality full-backs in Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot. But, their manager Erik ten Hag is not happy with their output. As a result, they are looking to add another full-back to the mix. They want someone who is much more suited to Ten Hag’s style of play.
They feel Boey could be a great fit for the club. As a result, they have enquired about the 23-year-old’s availability. Manchester United are keen on having him in their ranks and have already started making moves to land him at the club.
