Arsenal and Manchester United are both keen on having the 23-year-old Galatasaray full-back in their ranks.
According to a report by Fotospor, Arsenal and Manchester United are ready to battle it out for the services of Sacha Boey. The 23-year-old full-back has been putting in some impressive performances of late and there is a lot of interest in his services.
Boey came through the ranks at Stade Rennais but things didn’t really work out for him at the French club. In the summer of 2021, Galatasaray managed to acquire his services. And, the 23-year-old has managed to make quite a name for himself since joining the Turkish club.
The former French youth international has featured in a total of 68 matches for Galatasaray. He has even contributed towards seven goals during his time at the club. As far as the ongoing season is concerned, he has featured in 16 matches and has been a key part of their incredible run.
His impressive performances have attracted a lot of attention. While his contract runs until the summer of 2025, there is a real possibility of him joining a European giant in the near future.
Arsenal and Manchester United are two clubs interested in the 23-year-old right-back. The Gunners have two quality right-backs in their ranks. But, Mikel Arteta wants to add someone who has pace and can be deadly going forward. As a result, he wants the Gunners to invest in Boey.
The situation is quite similar for the Red Devils. Erik ten Hag has two quality right-sided full-backs in his ranks. But, still feels the need for another signing in that area. Boey will add a different dimension, his abilities on the ball could help the Dutch manager implement his style of play better.
While both Arsenal and United are keen on his services, they have decided to send scouts to watch the 23-year-old in action. They want a detailed report before making any decision regarding a potential transfer. The scouts of both English clubs will be present in the stands of the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex to watch Galatasaray in action against rivals Besiktas. They will keep a close eye on Boey and post that, the clubs will decide the next course of action.
