Real Madrid will reportedly look to launch a double raid on Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich for Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies are the subjects of interest from Real Madrid. The Merengues are laying the groundwork for the 2024 summer transfer window. And they want to launch a double raid on Bayern Munich for the highly-rated duo.
Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies joined Bayern Munich in the same year, with the latter arriving six months before the former. Musiala is a former trainee at Southampton FC and Chelsea FC but ended his youth career at Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, he represented England and Germany in age-group football on the international stage before choosing Germany as his senior team.
The 20-year-old made his first-team debut for Bayern Munich in June 2020, becoming the youngest-ever Bundesliga debutant for Die Roten. Since then, Musiala’s stock has skyrocketed, as he has become a pivotal figure for his club and country. Meanwhile, Davies has gone from strength to strength in the last four and a half years.
A regular for Bayern Munich, the 22-year-old has been one of the best full-backs in the Bundesliga for some time. Meanwhile, Davies has turned out 11 times thus far this season, chipping in with three assists. The youngster’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs. The same goes for Musiala, who has attracted several well-known teams.
Recent reports have linked Musiala and Davies with many Premier League bigwigs. But they have also been on Real Madrid’s radar for a long time. As for Davies, the Canadian international is also a target for many well-known heavyweight clubs. But he is reportedly keen on joining Real Madrid when he leaves Bayern Munich.
Real Madrid’s interest in Musiala is intriguing, considering he plays in the same position as Jude Bellingham. Nonetheless, the Merengues are keen on prising the 20-year-old away from Bayern Munich. But the Spanish giants are plotting a double raid on the Bundesliga champions, with Davies also a top target.
