Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Real Madrid are all keen on acquiring the services of 19-year-old Brazilian sensation Matheus Nascimento.
According to a report by Fichajes, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are looking to push for the services of Real Madrid target Matheus Nascimento. The teenage sensation has made quite a name for himself with impressive performances of late and all three of the clubs are ready to sign him.
Nascimento has come through the ranks at Botafogo and he made it to their first team back in 2020. The teenage sensation has featured in a total of 81 matches for the Brazilian club’s first team and he has contributed with 11 goals and four assists
In the ongoing season, the 19-year-old has featured in a total of 18 matches and he has been on the pitch for less than 800 minutes. But, Nascimento has still managed to find the back of the net on three occasions.
The Brazil under-20 stars contract runs until the end of 2025. But, he could end up leaving the club in the near future. While he is not yet a complete product, top European clubs are keen on having him in their ranks, they do not want to miss out on any young Brazilian sensation.
Real Madrid are one of the clubs that have been linked with the teenage sensation for a while now. Los Blancos are looking to add more depth to their attack and could push for the teenager’s services.
They have signed exceptional young talents from South America in the recent past and those players have been doing wonders for them. As a result, they would love to have Nascimento in the mix.
However, they are not the only club interested in his services. West Ham United and Crystal Palace are ready to battle it out with Los Blancos for the signatures of the 19-year-old.
The Hammers haven’t been in the best of form in front of goal. Despite having spent a decent amount on forwards over the past few windows, things haven’t clicked for them. As a result, they could opt for Nascimento to freshen things up.
Meanwhile, the Eagles lost a lot of quality from their attack in the summer. While they did bring in some reinforcement, Crystal Palace still need another striker up top. And, they are looking to sign the Brazilian wonderkid as he could be a great investment for the future.
According to the report, the English clubs are a touch ahead of Los Blancos and they could prevent Madrid from signing another South American sensation.
