Hugo Humanes is reportedly on the verge of ending his stint with Real Madrid to join Inter Milan in the ongoing transfer window.
According to a report by Spanish outlet MARCA, Hugo Humanes will join Inter Milan this summer. The 16-year-old wonderkid has been an excellent performer for Real Madrid in the last nine years. But he has ended his stint with Los Blancos, with the Serie A giants agreeing to a deal with them. And the teenage sensation will sign a three-year contract with the Nerazzurri.
Hugo Humanes has been an excellent performer in La Fabrica since joining Real Madrid nine years ago. The teenage whizkid is a native of Guadalajara and has gone from strength to strength at Real Madrid. And such has been his progress that he has been representing Los Blancos at the under-19 level.
That is despite being only 16 years old. But age has not been a barrier for Humanes, who has found the back of the net over 100 times in age-group football. However, the youngster’s stint with Real Madrid has ended. And he is moving to Italy, with Serie A giants Inter Milan snapping him up.
The teenage sensation, who holds Mexican and Spanish citizenship, has been a sensational performer in age-group football. So losing him will be a big blow for Real Madrid. That said, Humanes might not have had a clear pathway to first-team football, considering Kylian Mbappe will likely join Real Madrid next summer.
⚽️ Hugo Humanes. Top touch to finish. His 2nd goal this season.
🅰️ Diego Aguado (yes, again 😜). His 4th assist of the game… Amazing!

Mbappe’s arrival will mean that the Real Madrid squad will have a loaded offensive unit, also consisting of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes, and Endrick. So leaving Real Madrid is a sensible decision by Humanes. And the Merengues have an agreement with Serie A giants Inter Milan for the 16-year-old wonderkid.
The report claims that Humanes will sign a three-year contract with Inter Milan. And he will likely turn out for the Serie A club’s under-19 team, just like he did at Real Madrid. Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri will also look to bolster the first-team squad with a striker, with Folarin Balogun being the top target.
As for Humanes, he should ideally have a quick path to first-team football at San Siro. With Lautaro Martinez being popular in the market, the 16-year-old should be in line to replace the World Cup winner at the Serie A club.
