Liverpool are interested in acquiring the services of 16-year-old West Ham United defensive prodigy Amara Nallo.
Liverpool have been busy in the ongoing transfer window after a disappointing 2022-23 season. The Reds struggled throughout the season and failed to live up to the expectations of the fans.
While their focus has been on improving their first team, Jurgen Klopp’s team are looking for young prospects for the future. And, according to Fabrizio Romano, they have their eyes set on 16-year-old Amara Nallo.
The Reds have been keeping a close eye on the teenager for a while now and are keen on having him in their academy. They have been in talks with West Ham United over a potential deal of late. Negotiations are ongoing between the two parties as Liverpool hope to get it over the line in the near future.
The Merseyside club failed to qualify for the Champions League as they were far from their best in the Premier League. The major reason for their poor outing was an inconsistent midfield. After the end of the season, the club decided against renewing the contract of three of their senior midfielders.

And, post that they went into the market and signed Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai. After the arrival of the duo, all seemed sorted but the departure of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho has now forced them to look for more options.
While they work on signing multiple midfielders as well as a new centre-back for the first team. The Reds are also interested in signing the 16-year-old West Ham defender who has gone from strength to strength of late. Nallo has already established himself in the Hammers Under-18 setup.
The teenage centre-back has all the qualities to succeed at the top level. And, he is considered to be a huge prospect for the future. As a result, the Reds are keen on adding him to their youth ranks ahead of next season. They have been in talks with the Hammers for the services of the 2006-born defender.
While it won’t be easy to land him at the club, Liverpool have the financial strength as well as the pull lure the 16-year-old sensation to the club.
