Tottenham ready to pay €80 million for Randal Kolo Muani

Tottenham are willing to pay €80 million to sign Randal Kolo Muani, but Eintracht Frankfurt continues to hold out for €100 million.

According to Bild, Tottenham’s willingness to pay €80 million for Randal Kolo Muani may not convince Eintracht Frankfurt. The German side are holding out for at least €100 million for the French striker as Spurs look for a possible Harry Kane replacement.

The striker’s market has gone a bit quiet, but there’s every expectation for it to blossom in the coming period. Top clubs are currently focused on central midfielders, but there are indications some of those are ready to bring in a new forward.

Tottenham and Harry Kane are right at the centre of this, and if the 29-year-old ends up moving, it could have a domino effect elsewhere. Bayern Munich are pushing to sign the England captain and already have a long term contract ready for the striker to sign.

Tottenham will look to replace Kane and his goals by signing a viable replacement, but the prices are set to skyrocket in the current market. They are keen on Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt, and the Frenchman won’t come cheaply.

Spurs have explored other options from elsewhere, but the Frenchman could fit their profile. Manchester United have also been keen, but they are now leaning towards signing Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.

Bayern have also kept tabs on Kolo Muani in case they fail to sign Kane. Frankfurt, who signed the striker last summer on a free transfer, are bracing for sizeable offers. After scoring 23 goals for the Bundesliga side, the Frenchman has put himself in the bracket of some top forward names.

Frankfurt are adamant about their €100 million asking price and will not reduce it under any circumstances, as per the report. Tottenham are willing to pay €80 million to sign him, but that may not prove enough to entice the Bundesliga side.

Frankfurt have a long-term agreement with their 23-goal star. They will look to extract top value from suitors, particularly from the Premier League. Tottenham hopes to keep Kane and enter into a new long-term agreement, but their chances are slim with each passing day.
