The representatives of Dusan Vlahovic, a target for Real Madrid, have reportedly been in contact with Manchester United.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Dusan Vlahovic is the subject of interest from Manchester United. And the 23-year-old striker’s representatives have been in touch with the Premier League club. The Juventus attacker is also a target for Real Madrid over a move in the summer transfer window.
Dusan Vlahovic has blown hot and cold since joining Juventus from Fiorentina in January 2022. The Serbian international arrived at the Allianz Stadium after being one of the best young strikers in Serie A. But he has not lived up to the billing in the last 18 months, although Juventus’s struggles have also contributed to his inconsistencies.
The 23-year-old managed a sub-par tally of 14 goals and four assists in 42 appearances in all competitions. But Vlahovic’s stock remains high despite his inconsistent performances for Juventus this past season. Manchester United and Real Madrid are his prospective suitors in the ongoing transfer window.
Reports last month revealed that Manchester United’s stalling takeover is affecting the chase for top targets like Vlahovic. But the Red Devils remain keen on signing the Serb in the summer transfer window. And with Anthony Martial being dreadful in the 2022/23 season, Erik ten Hag can do with a top-notch striker.
While Vlahovic struggled for consistency this past season, he remains a striker with a high ceiling. And the 23-year-old striker’s representatives have been in contact with Manchester United over a possible summer move. But Manchester United will face stiff competition from Real Madrid for the Juventus attacker.
Recent reports have claimed that the Merengues have sealed the agreement to secure Vlahovic’s services. But Real Madrid will only sign the Serbian international if they fail to land Kylian Mbappe. However, with Manchester United in contact with the player’s entourage, Real Madrid will ask him to wait for a few days before finalising his decision.
