Vinicius Tobias will rejoin Real Madrid on loan for the 2023/24 season, with Los Blancos paying €500,000 to Shakhtar Donetsk.
According to reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Vinicius Tobias will continue his adventure at Real Madrid in the 2023/24 season. The Merengues are on the verge of re-signing the Brazilian sensation on loan for another campaign. And they will pay €500,000 as the loan fee to Shakhtar Donetsk.
Vinicius Tobias spent most of his formative years in his homeland before joining Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2022. But Russia’s invasion of Ukraine forced him out of Shakhtar on a temporary deal in April 2022. And the 19-year-old joined Real Madrid on loan until the end of the 2022/23 season.
The Brazilian sensation represented Real Madrid Castilla this past season while also turning out in UEFA Youth League. And Tobias managed five assists in 40 appearances across all competitions. But the youngster’s stint with Real Madrid will officially end in a few days, and his future has been uncertain.
Reports in December claimed Real Madrid would sign Vinicius Tobias permanently. But such suggestions seemed wide of the mark as the weeks and months progressed. And the teenage whizkid has been uncertain about his next destination heading into the summer transfer window. However, that has changed now, with Real Madrid on the verge of re-signing him.

The Merengues have reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk over a new loan deal for the 19-year-old Brazilian sensation. So he will spend the 2023/24 season with Real Madrid, possibly representing the reserve side again. But if the youngster continues progressing well, he might have the chance to succeed Dani Carvajal in the first team.
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Real Madrid will pay a loan fee of €500,000 to Shakhtar Donetsk. In addition, Los Blancos can sign Tobias permanently next summer for just €15 million. But the clause will not make it obligatory for Real Madrid to secure the youngster’s services permanently under any circumstance.
