Arsenal will soon offer £90 million to sign Declan Rice, a target for Manchester United, in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Daily Mail, Arsenal will soon intensify the efforts to sign Declan Rice in the summer transfer window. And the Gunners are ready to offer £90 million to sign the West Ham United captain. The 24-year-old is also a target for Manchester United.
Declan Rice has proven the Chelsea coaches wrong by establishing himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. The Blues released him from their academy before his formative years ended. And the English international has become a pivotal figure for his club and country in the last few years.
The 24-year-old rose to prominence at West Ham United and is now the Hammers’ captain. And Rice has turned out nearly 250 times for the East London club, chipping in with 15 goals and 13 assists. But the player’s stint with West Ham will end this summer, with Arsenal and Manchester United keen on signing him.
Arsenal will lose Granit Xhaka in the summer transfer window, with the Swiss international playing his last game for the North London club. In addition, Jorginho and Albert Sambi Lokonga face an uncertain future at the Emirates. And Rice is the ideal option to fill Xhaka’s void at Arsenal in the coming decade.

The Gunners are now ready to step up their efforts to secure Rice’s services. And Arsenal will soon table a bid worth £90 million to prise him away from West Ham. But the North London club will face stiff competition from Manchester United in the race to sign the 24-year-old.
The Red Devils are ready to beat Arsenal to Rice’s signature. And with Christian Eriksen on the wrong side of 30, signing Rice as an upgrade will be a sensible decision by Manchester United. But they might not be able to afford to match Arsenal’s bid of £90 million.
